Fashion Trend

Fashion Trend, Fashion Trend definition, Fashion Trend 2013

Fashion Trend is A "Trend" in fashion indicates the acceptance of a "new" design, usually related to clothing. "New designs" are rarely "New". Most often they are a re-introduction of something from the past. IE, short skirts, long skirts. When a Clothing Designer introduces a new fashion, it may be accepted or rejected by the buying public.

Fashion Trend definition A "Trend" occurs when a new design is accepted and sells in sufficient quantity in some test markets, and then creates a demand from consumers across a broader market.

For example, in the US, many new fashions first take hold in California. In Hollywood many new designs are first introduced and Californians often are the first to accept some new designs. It's been historical that most new fashions move Eastward from California. This not only true of clothing but in many other fields. It has happened in floor covering as well, and in most products that involve color. As these new concepts move Eastward, they are referred to as "Trends".

Fashion Trend 2013 We've been seeing stripes for a while now on designer runways and in stores, and they're back for spring and summer 2013. Designers have used stripes in many different ways for the season, including fat horizontal rugby-inspired stripes, vertical stripes, and chevron stripes.

Pictured above at left is a navy and white striped swimsuit by American designer Tommy Hilfiger, who traditionally favors the red, white, and blue color palette. Here the stripes are set at different angles, making for an interesting one-piece swimsuit. At center, Oscar de la Renta presents a black and white striped runway gown with horizontal stripes on the bodice and chevron stripes on the floor-length skirt. At left Michael Kors plays with another trend for spring the bare midriff in a matching red and black two-piece top and skirt ensemble, featuring horizontal stripes, which are wider on top than on the skirt.

How you choose to use this power is all up to you.

Use it well, and you can become whatever you would like to be.

AVEDA: Damage Remedy Restructing Range Review

I recently worked for a brand called Aveda which  mainly sells haircare, specializing in collections such as: protecting colour, repairing damage, smooth and tame, enrich colour, soothing care, sun care, soften hair, thin hair, moisturizing, enhancing curls/waves, creating volume and maintaining a healthy scalp. These hair products are by far the best I have used in a while as they have no perfume or harmful chemicals and they're all herbal. At first I was a bit hesitant to look more into their products as they are a bit on the pricey side, and as I usually need half a bottle of shampoo/conditioner for my long hair, these products wouldn't last me a week! But after one wash of trying them out I can already feel and see a difference! As they're restructuring products my hair feels a lot stronger and it actually looks and feel healthy. I definitely recommend these products if your hair is heat styling and environmentally damaged.

1. Aveda Damage Remedy Restructuring Shampoo - £19.50(250ml)
This daily shampoo is incredible for bringing your hair back to life again and it's part of a three-step restructuring system. With a type of protein to strengthen your hair, it also has a coconut-based cleansing formula to treat chemical, heat styling and environmental damaged hair. You only need a tiny amount of this product, it goes far! Follow with Damage Remedy Restructuring Conditioner.

2. Aveda Damage Remedy Restructuring Conditioner - £21.50(200ml)
The daily restructuring conditioner has the protein Quinoa in which protects, repairs and re-adds moisture into damaged hair. It has a formula which smooths right to the hair cuticle and what I love about this conditioner is your hair feels incredibly soft after. It adds enough shine to enhance that healthy glow! Follow with Damage Remedy Daily Hair Repair.

3. Aveda Damage Remedy Daily Hair Repair - £19.50(100ml)
This is by far my favorite product out the three! The daily hair repair is a leave in treatment which you apply by working a small amount of product in hands to damp hair after using the two previous products, comb through and don't rinse out. It strengthens and protects the hair from straightening/blow-drying, it helps prevent breakage. It also has organic oils in, one of them being bergamot. It gives you a healthy foundation to style and finish.

Casadei Spring Shoes 2013

Forget about diamond jewellery and designer clothes...Sometimes all it takes to make an outstanding style statement is a killer pair of heels. For the past 54 years, Italian footwear label Casadei has thrived upon it's prowess to create shoes that allow women to tower over the crowd, most literally. These 5 inch pair of heels are not for the faint hearted. With aerial proportions, acute angles & concealed platforms, they will require some skill walking in.

For Spring 2013, Casadei gingers up their usual pairs of strappy sandals and pointy-toe pumps with jazzy colours and interesting materials. Electric animal print shoes are studded with sparkly Swarovski crystals. Crackled wedge heels are crafted from a patchwork of mirrored glass and earthy wafers of wood. Transparent plexi-glass adds a futuristic effect to satin covered sandals in pastel hues.

Here is a look into the pioneering Spring/Summer 2013 range by Casadei.

A pair of Casadei pumps will set you back $650 and more. So for now, all we can do is swoon over these sensational pairs and leave it to the fashionably famous to figure out how to walk in them. Which one of these is your dream heel?
